Lagos State’s Honourable Commissioner of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Steve Ayorinde entertained hosts of the Goge Africa TV Programme Series; Isaac and Nneka Moses, at his office in Alausa on May 24, 2018.
Also present at the meeting were executives of Goge Africa Travel Club, a group of avid travelers, tourism and culture enthusiasts, formed by Goge Africa.
During the cordial meet, Hon. Ayorinde commended the Goge Africa founders – Isaac and Nneka Moses – on 19 years of tourism promotion in, not only Lagos, but Africa. He further expressed well wishes, as the tourism brand prepares to mark its 20th anniversary next year.
Lagos state continues to position itself, to fully capitalize on tourism, the commissioner explained during the meeting. The recently concluded Lagos Tourism Summit, was one of such actions.
At the summit held on April 16 at Eko Hotels and Suites, it was announced that a Lagos State Tourism Master Plan was being drafted to strategically improve tourism across the most populous city in Nigeria.
This document, Mr. Ayorinde said, is near completion and has left no stone untouched in addressing Lagos State tourism.
