Overview:
HR Personnel will be responsible for managing the human resources functions of Goge Africa. This includes recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. The HR Personnel will also act as the liaison between employees and management, fostering a positive workplace culture while driving productivity and alignment with project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding
- Develop and execute recruitment plans to attract top talent.
- Conduct job postings, screen applications, and coordinate interviews.
- Facilitate orientation programs for new employees.
- Employee Relations and Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee queries.
- Mediate conflicts and maintain a harmonious work environment.
- Plan and execute engagement initiatives to boost morale.
- Performance Management
- Implement performance appraisal systems.
- Collaborate with department heads to set goals and review metrics.
- Provide coaching and career development guidance.
- Policy Development and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and organizational standards.
- Regularly update and communicate policies.
- Training and Development
- Identify skill gaps and design training programs.
- Organize workshops and foster a learning culture.
- HR Administration
- Maintain accurate employee records.
- Generate reports on HR metrics like turnover rates.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in media or creative industries.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal abilities, organizational skills, knowledge of labor laws, and proficiency in HR software.
