The marquee-style premier event venue at Harbour Point recently hosted the 21st Emzor Pharmaceutical Annual Thanksgiving Dinner Celebration.

Officially established in 1984, Emzor Pharmaceuticals marked the occasion with an evening program brought to life by the unmistakable flair and magnetic presence of Goge Africa’s founders, Ambassador Isaac and Nneka Isaac-Moses – who donned an Aso-oke accentuated evening gown designed by Ara-Ewa Fashion.

With their trademark blend of grace, cultural charm, and seasoned showmanship, the iconic couple set the tone for the evening in an unforgettable way. They opened the program with a nostalgic, soul-stirring rendition of the brand’s beloved signature commercial—“Emzor Paracetamol will make you feel better” 🎵🎶🎵. Their duet instantly connected with the audience, prompting delighted smiles and whispers of reminiscence across the hall. Just then, Amb. Isaac-Moses followed up with a rich, baritone live voice-over—“Stop that pain with Emzor Paracetamol …”—delivered with such theatrical precision that the audience erupted in thunderous applause 👏, signaling that the night was truly underway.

The event flowed smoothly from there, beginning with an opening prayer by Mr. Chukwu Ekwe, followed by the national anthem and a brief, uplifting praise and worship session. Dignitaries in attendance were recognized, after which Her Excellency Mrs. Bola Obasanjo delivered a goodwill message emphasizing the importance of rest.

The graceful and distinguished matriarch, Founder and Group Managing Director of Emzor Pharmaceuticals, Mrs. Stella Okoli, joyfully expressed her heartfelt appreciation, thanking all the guests for honoring the invitation on such short notice.
The keynote address was presented by the Alara of Ilara Kingdom, Epe, HRM Oba (Dr.) Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo, who commended the resilience and vision of the company’s founder—the inspiration behind the annual thanksgiving tradition.

A spirited praise session followed, amplifying the celebratory mood.

Pastor Enelamah delivered a sermon on the imperative of thanksgiving, drawing from the Biblical story of the ten lepers in Luke 17:11–19.

The evening’s cultural harmony deepened with a pan-Nigerian performance featuring Igbo, Yoruba, and Hausa elements. A dynamic narrator wove these segments together in lively Pidgin English, underscoring Emzor’s national heritage and reach.

A major highlight of the night was the recognition of over 100 long-serving and outstanding staff members, whose years of service ranged from 10 to an impressive 35 years.

Additional performances included a captivating spoken-word poetry presentation, a melodious piece by the Emzor choir, and an enlightening showcase on the company’s ongoing research—particularly innovations in children’s medications that have eased the burden for nursing mothers and earned widespread praise.

The cake-cutting ceremony, graced by distinguished dignitaries, provided a symbolic moment of unity and gratitude.
And following this were goodwill remarks delivered by the First Lady of Ogun State, Her Excellency Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun, and the First Lady of Abia State, Her Excellency Mrs. Priscilla Otti.
