Goge Africa proudly witnessed the historic inaugural flight of ValueJet from Lagos, Nigeria, to Banjul, The Gambia. This new route marks a momentous milestone in enhancing regional cooperation, economic relations, and seamless travel, with immense potential to boost tourism across West Africa.
The occasion commenced with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, followed by a celebratory water cannon salute upon arrival at Banjul International Airport. The event was graced by representatives from ValueJet, the Gambian Tourism Board, the Nigerian High Commission, the Gambian High Commission, Goge Africa’s founders, Ambassadors Isaac and Nneka Isaac Moses, some young travel influencers, alongside other excited passengers.
This new air connection promises to foster cultural exchange, trade, and tourism, further uniting West Africa.
