After 20 years of promoting and marketing destinations in Africa and the Diaspora, Goge Africa is organizing a FREE training workshop for young Tourism Entrepreneurs, in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture and National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism.
This tourism training is a give-back by Goge Africa to mark its 20 years of corporate contributions to our cultural legacies, tourism destinations and economic growths, both in Nigeria and across the Continent of Africa.
The Tourism 101 Immersive Class, is to raise the level of awareness amongst Young Practitioners who have chosen to be entrepreneurs in the Tourism sector. Training 101 is to enlighten, empower and equip, the increasing number of Entrepreneurs in the sector, with the knowledge of Africa’s tourism spectrum including its richness and highly sustainable economic activities; which is necessary to supplement the over dependence on oil & gas.
Date: March 30th – April 1st, 2020
Venue: Executive Lounge, National Arts Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos.
Sessions are:
- Tour Packaging & Marketing
- Rules of a Successful Tour Guide
- Hospitality and Interpersonal skills
- Social Media & Tourism
- Financial Literacy
- Photography Workshop
The training is for 50 young participants drawn from the Tourism Sector.
Participants will receive Certificates of Participation, at the end of the Training.
